I was told of an issue with my serpentine belt. That it needed to be replaced ! I got a second opinion and even a 3rd from mechanics and they said the belt it fine, and does not need to be replaced.

Let me start by saying when I first walked in i was pleasantly surprised at how clean the establishment was even the bays were very clean. I was greated promptly and professionly. I expected to wait a couple of hours and my wait turned out to be all of 30 minutes. I was so pleased and excited that my experience with Kirkwood auto exceeded my expectations. They will be my new place to have my car serviced. Ill be a customer for life. Thank you Kirkwood auto.

Overall good experience with the caveats being it was my first time here and my brother-in-law is a mechanic so I had some direction. That being said, they offered the best quote of four service centers in the Newark/Wilmington area. Completely satisfied with a set of brake pads/rotors and a brake fluid exchange. They were honest about potential difficulties with a transmission fluid exchange, the consequence being I had it done somewhere else. Also, willing to discuss details about a set of tires. I will come back in the future and recommend. I took a star away because although when I scheduled we agreed 5 pm pick up, things changed and they didn't change with me. Not really on them, their schedule was set. However, I can only give a perfect rating to service that moves when I move.

Quick service, reasonable rates (A/C repair). I would not hesitate to bring my vehicle here again.

I have never been to Kirkwood Auto before, butt my car was running very rough and at the last minute I pulled into their parking lot. From the moment I met the receptionist I knew I had made the right decision to go there. I was treated respectfully yet kindly and thoughtfully. I did have to call a couple times before I knew what was wrong, but my car was ready at the end of the next day. I thought the price for labor was a little high. However, I am thankful that the total was less than $500 since it was an old car. Yes, I would take my car there again! Claudia

Took my van to Kirkwood Auto for a defective horn and a stuck throttle body. They called me first before performing any repairs and advised me of what their mechanic found. They cleaned the throttle body and suggested replacing the part.The horn relay needed replacement. Although, I did not get the work done, I was not pressured and I simply paid the diagnoses charge to get the work done myself.

Kirkwood Auto Center is great. They provide good service at a fair price and shuttle service. I highly recommend Kirkwood Auto Center!

Recently worked with Brian to put new tires and wheels on a Jeep Wrangler. Brian was very informative during the process and also very patient with all of my requests. I keep going back to Kirkwood Auto for this reason... great service and trustworthy.

Originally brought my car in for oil change. Technician thoroughly checked my car and found a leak in brake line, which they replaced. They were kind enough to give me a loaner car for the day. Service people were very courteous, and car was repaired in a timely fashion.
